About us

School SafeNet Initiative is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) in Kenya dedicated to promoting safety awareness, preparedness and response capacity building in learning institutions. Our primary focus is fire and occupational safety training for secondary schools, equipping students, teachers, and staff with essential life-saving skills through practical training, awareness programs, and capacity building.

We aim to reduce injuries and fatalities, protect school infrastructure, minimize disruption of education, and foster a culture of safety among young people. Through partnerships, training, audits, advocacy, and provision of safety resources, we empower school communities to respond effectively to emergencies and create safer learning environments across Kenya.
